Four road projects to be funded by a special sales tax approved by voters one year ago will be highlighted at the monthly Johns Creek transportation update meeting.

The meeting is planned for 7 p.m., Nov. 16, at the Municipal Court/Police Department headquarters, 11445 Johns Creek Parkway.

The projects to be discussed are Barnwell Road intersection improvements at Holcomb Bridge Road; Bell/Boles Road Corridor operational and safety improvements; the McGinnis Ferry Road widening from Union Hill to Sargent roads (a joint project with Forsyth County, Alpharetta and Milton); and the State Bridge Road widening from Medlock Bridge Road to the Chattahoochee River.

City staff will be on hand to answer questions about Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax projects. The five-year, 0.75-cent special sales tax is expected to generate $82 million for Johns Creek road work.
