Johns Creek to dedicate station for fallen firefighter

Roberts was a member of the Fulton County Fire Department when he died May 28, 2007, trying to save a man inside a burning home in Johns Creek. The city was only six months old at the time and still under Fulton’s fire protection. The resident also died in the blaze and two other firefighters were injured.

The public is invited the 10 a.m. ceremony. Guests should use the parking and shuttle service provided by Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church at 9820 Nesbit Ferry Road in Johns Creek because of limited parking at the fire station.
