4+ inches of rain has fallen in metro; more is on the way

Parts of metro Atlanta have seen nearly 4 to 6 inches of rainfall in the last 24 hours. This has led to numerous flooding warnings and road closures across the metro area.

With all of this rain, 2018 is now the 2nd wettest on record, according to Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brad Nitz. The metro area could see another 2 to 3 inches, Nitz said.

Severe Weather Team 2 is tracking the next round of wet weather, on Channel 2 Action News Saturday AM.
