Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful is encouraging residents to start dropping off their old Christmas trees on Dec. 26 as part of the state’s “Bring One for the Chipper Program.”
Residents are asked to strip their trees of lights and decorations and bring them to one of about 30 locations between Dec. 26 and Jan. 16. Artificial trees will not be accepted.
Once all of the trees are collected, a group of volunteers will chip them into mulch on Jan.21 at Bethesda Park in Lawrenceville.
