Nearly $1 million in grant money will help Gwinnett County provide respite care and other services to senior citizens.
The Board of Commissioners accepted the grant from the Atlanta Regional Commission on Tuesday. The money will be used to provide respite care, home-delivered meals, homemaking, transportation and other services.
Gwinnett County Senior Services operates senior citizens centers in Lawrenceville, Norcross and Buford and provides a variety of in-home services. For more information call 678-377-4150.
