A vigil will be held in Decatur next week to honor victims of domestic violence.
The Women's Resource Center to End Domestic Violence will hold their 20th Annual Candlelight Vigil from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the gazebo in downtown Decatur, which is located near the MARTA station.
October has been designated Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The vigil will examine the problem of domestic violence and will include speakers and musical performances and end with a candle lighting ceremony to remember every Georgian who died as a result of domestic violence in the last year.
