The top-dog was recently recognized by pet treat brand Milk-Bone as one of 15 dogs who change the world in their third annual list of canine champs.

The “Dogs Who Change the World” campaign honors extraordinary dogs who “help people live fuller and richer lives by going above and beyond the call of doggy duty to help them navigate their world,” according to a news release.

By teaming up with the Canine Assistants school — which trains service dogs to be super-pups — Milk-Bone chooses 15 exceptional dogs around the country each year.

With Milk-Bone’s support, more than 2,000 hero dogs have been placed with individuals in need across the U.S.

In addition to being a cross-country star alongside her pet parent, Erin, Pixel is especially honorable for her skills of comforting and calming Erin during her epileptic episodes.

According to the news release, Pixel can also sense when Erin, who also suffers from diabetes, has low blood sugar or is near an epileptic episode.

She can even call for help during medical emergencies.

Pixel is among some stellar heroes on the list. One is a N.J. golden named Axle, a therapy dog who sits with children as they practice reading and visits senior and veterans homes.

Another champ, Bliss from Arizona, helps her pet owner’s daughter, who is in a wheelchair, adjust to life in middle school. Bliss, according to KTAR News, can pick up dropped items, open doors and often keeps her safe at school.
