Due to expected severe weather in the area, the City of Alpharetta has canceled the ninth annual Children’s Festival originally scheduled for Saturday at the Community Center .
"While we regret the need to cancel this much-loved community event, the safety of our citizens and event patrons must be our primary concern," said Assistant City Manager James Drinkard.
