7 p.m.: The AJC is keeping track of reported coronavirus deaths and cases across Georgia, as reported by the Department of Public Health. Wednesday evening, there are at least 1,933 deaths from COVID-19 and 44,638 confirmed cases in the state.

2:45 p.m.: Shelia Poole reported New Birth Missionary Baptist Church will hold drive-in style service on Pentecost Sunday.

2 p.m.: The pastor at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church has tested positive for COVID-19, but Rev. Brian R. Sheridan is currently asymptomatic. Shelia Poole has the details.

11:30 a.m.: Kiersten Willis reported an Atlanta Veterans Affairs physician assistant wrote a song dedicated to health care workers on the front lines of the pandemic.

10 a.m.: Elm Street Cultural Arts Village in Woodstock has delayed productions due to uncertainty over mass gatherings. David Ibata has the details.

9:30 a.m.: Tyler Estep reported DeKalb County will allocate at least $1 million in federal coronavirus relief funds to help residents with food, rent and utility.

8 a.m.: Atlanta-based nonprofit Caring For Others will give 2,500 pairs of shoes to families in need at a drive-thru shoe and food distribution event at their headquarters, Raisa Habersham reported.

8 a.m.: Arielle Kass reported the successor to retiring Gwinnett County Charlotte Nash will have to lead amid the coronavirus crisis come the fall.

7:30 a.m.: Kristal Dixon reported seven Cobb County libraries will launch curbside service next month.

7:30 a.m.: The decision on reopening Atlanta schools will be made by the next superintendent. Vanessa McCray has the story.
