Xanax, cocaine, other drugs and cash recovered in Atlanta recording studio raid

More than 600 grams of drugs and nearly 500 pills were recovered in a raid at an Atlanta recording studio, police said late Thursday. 

Six men – Jessie Smith, Sharod Smith, Deangelo Durr, Harold Charles, Adrian Parks and Agurus Wilder – are in the Fulton County jail after an Atlanta police narcotics team searched ORG Studios on Wednesday night on the 2500 block of Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway.

Police recovered 464.5 grams marijuana, 24.8 grams cocaine, 103 grams of ecstasy, 13.1 grams heroin, 107 Oxycodone pills, 388 Xanax pills, $3,291, a Smith and Wesson .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol. Five cars were also impounded. 

About 20 people and nine cars were ordered to the ground Thursday night in the parking lot, according to a police report.

“A few individuals were witnessed throwing narcotics and were detained immediately,” Atlanta police Officer Donald Hannah said. 

Police say a “main target” was detained, but did not identify which of the suspects was the main target. 

Both Smiths face marijuana, cocaine and MDMA possession charges. Durr faces heroin trafficking and controlled substance possession charges. Parks faces marijuana possession and gun charges. Wilder faces marijuana and controlled substance possession. Charles faces a marijuana possession charge. 

No other details were released.
