An Uber Eats driver accused of killing a customer outside his Buckhead condo was denied bond at a preliminary hearing on Tuesday.
A judge found probable cause to move forward with the case against Robert Bivines despite claims by his attorney, Jackie Patterson, that his client acted in self-defense.

Bivines faces felony and malice murder in the shooting death of Morehouse College graduate Ryan Thornton. According to Atlanta police, the two got into an altercation outside Thornton’s home, which ended with Bivines firing four shots at Thornton, killing him.
