Brian Jean-Baptiste of Roswell is facing multiple felony charges, including aggravated assault against an officer, hit-and-run, interference with government property and fleeing and attempting to elude, according to Fulton County Jail records.
Police told Channel 2 the incident began with a call from neighbors about a suspicious person in a car at a parking lot near High Creek Trace.

After officers located the car, police said Jean-Baptiste attempted to drive off, striking officer Brad Stacks in his foot and leg in the process and then hitting a squad car, the news station reported. Stacks was treated at the scene and is recovering from the incident.
It’s unclear whether Jean-Baptiste was the only person inside the vehicle.
According to Jean-Baptiste’s social media posts, he was once a member of the Centennial High School football team, Channel 2 reported.
Jean-Baptiste was released from the Fulton County Jail on Wednesday on a $65,000 bond, jail records show.
