A 23-year-old Woodstock man was found dead Saturday night on West Station Drive in Cobb County, police said.
Justin C. Dallas of Woodstock had been shot to death about 9:50 p.m., Cobb County police spokeswoman Officer Alicia Chilton said.
Neighbors in the Bells Ferry Station neighborhood reported hearing shots shortly before police arrived and found Dallas dead.
Naeem Jakwan Edwards, 19, of Acworth, was arrested in connection to Dallas’ death, Chilton said. Edwards faces felony murder and aggravated assault with intent to murder charges.
The shooting is the second in two days reported in Cobb County.
Two 21-year-old men were wounded early Friday, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported.
Police responded to a call about gunshots exchanged between two groups at a large party in Kennesaw about 1 a.m., Chilton said.
That shooting was at the Stadium Village Apartments in the 3000 block of Hidden Forest Court, which is about 3 miles from the location of Saturday night’s shooting.
