Man arrested after 17-car theft at three Roswell dealerships, cops say

Police say thieves broke their way into dealerships' offices to steal the keys and drop the cars off the lot.

A man was arrested after 17 vehicles were stolen from three Roswell dealerships within the past week, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Antonio McCrary remained in the Fulton County jail Monday on burglary charges. Roswell police believe there are others connected to the crime.

The latest car thefts occurred Aug. 6 at Used Imports Auto Dealerships, where ten cars were stolen.

The officer manager told Channel 2 the thieves burglarized the business and stole the keys.

“There were keys everywhere,” Alisha Hunter said. “They used one of our cars as a battering ram to get the gate itself down.”

Anyone with information on the alleged thefts is asked to call Roswell police.
