DeKalb County police are investigating a home invasion that occurred Thursday morning at the Thornberry Apartments near Decatur.

The suspects in an armed robbery — and the victims — have been charged after police said three men forced their way inside a DeKalb County apartment Thursday and ransacked the place.

Antonio Lee, Cameron Dontayous and Dejuan Washington are in custody, accused of armed robbery.

The robbery victims, Andre Brooks and Damarah Peek, are facing drug charges.

Just after 8:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of a home invasion at the Thornberry Apartments in the 2400 block of Aylesbury Loop near Decatur, DeKalb police spokesman Sgt. J.D. Spencer told Channel 2 Action News.

Investigators learned “the victims were forced into their apartment by several armed suspects,” but no one was injured, he said.

It is not clear why the victims were targeted.

An investigation is ongoing.
