Three days after a man was found dead in an apartment on Windy Hill Road in Cobb County, police arrested a second man in connection with the shooting.

Charon Brazzel, 26, of Riverdale, was arrested Friday by police at a hotel in College Park, Cobb police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce said. Authorities had arrested Carl Maurice McCline, 26, on Wednesday in connection with the shooting.

Both men face murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery and weapons charges.

Cobb police found Ian Washington, 31, injured from a gunshot wound Tuesday inside the Belmont Place Apartments in Marietta, Pierce said. They later found 25-year-old Esmond Ford dead in a nearby apartment.

Washington was taken to a hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
