Coles will bring her comedy to Norcross during a series of shows that continue through Aug. 26 .
The funny actress, host and writer has been on several hit shows including “Living Single,” Frazier” and “In Living Color.”

CRUSH FEST WINE & FOOD FESTIVAL
Visit Yonah Mountain Vineyards in Cleveland for the 9th annual Crush Fest Wine & Food Festival on Aug. 25 The day-long festival celebrates the grape harvest.
Crush Fest features wine tastings, live music, food trucks, an artisan fair and the centerpiece event — guests can climb into a huge vat of grapes and participate in a traditional barefoot grape stomping.

KIDS COOKING CLUB
The ALIF Institute will hold its Kids Cooking Club prepare those little hand to make great dishes.
The club will make mana’ish (manaeesh, manakeesh or man’ousheh) with thyme and cheese. Mana’ish is popular food consisting of dough topped with thyme, cheese, or ground meat. There is also an adult cooking class at the same time, but dishes will be different.
The ALIF Institute fosters understanding and appreciation of Arab cultures.

“LOVE JONES” SCREENING
There will be a free showing of the romantic drama, “Love Jones” at 3 p.m. on Aug. 25 at the Auburn Avenue Research Library on African American Culture and History. The showing is in collaboration with the African American Film Critics Association.
The 1997 film stars Larenz Tate, Nia Long, Isaiah Washington, Bill Bellamy and Lisa Nicole Carson.
There will be a post-screening discussion with AAFCA member Ronda Penrice.

FESTIVAL PEACHTREE LATINO
The 18th Annual Festival Peachtree Latino will bring thousands of people to Piedmont Park on Aug. 26 for a day of music, food , family activities and crafts.
The free festival celebrates the diverse Latino populations and has become one of the largest multicultural festivals in the southeast.
There will be samba, salsa and zumba presentations. A new addition to this year’s event will be the “Latin Idol”, where up-and-coming vocalists can showcase their talent.
The festival raises money each year for scholarships through the Southern Latino Foundation.

NATIONAL DOG DAY AT MONDAY NIGHT BREWING
What’s better than having your dog by your side and a brew?
Monday Night Brewing will celebrate National Dog Day on Aug. 26 at the Garage location in the West End. Enjoy free doggie ice cream from Taj Ma-Hound Gourmet Dog Treats; pet portraits by local artist Garrison Taylor; custom dog collars and squeaky toy and a special waffle dog treat from Betty’s Waffle Truck.
There is a cost for some items.
Fifteen percent of draft sales will benefit the Atlanta Rescue Dog Cafe, an educational nonprofit promoting safe and humane animal practices and responsible pet care in Atlanta. All size dogs will be allowed inside and outside.
