Kristy Swanson misses her "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" co-star Luke Perry.
The actress offered a sweet, funny photo tribute Friday to Perry, who died earlier this month after a massive stroke. "For #Flashback Friday, I wanted to share this photo of Luke and I goofing off on the set of Buffy," Swanson tweeted. "Always the committed actor, he makes the perfect face for the character in the moment. I miss you so much Buddy. I love you. #LukePerry"
In the black-and-white picture, Swanson and Perry both sport fake mouthpieces, hers with fangs and his with a decidedly less scary bite.
Perry acted in "Buffy" after breaking out as a star a couple years earlier in "Beverly Hills, 90210." At the time of his death, he was playing Fred Andrews, the father of lead character Archie Andrews, in CW's "Riverdale," an adaptation based on the Archie Comics characters.
Swanson played the title character and Perry played Pike in the 1992 "Buffy" film, which was written by Joss Whedon, the creator of the popular TV series of the same name that premiered four years later.
