Tim Tebow is showing off some impressive power hitting in his early days as a minor league baseball player.
For the second time this week, Tebow cranked out a home run. Unlike his first homer, when he stopped at second base because he thought it was a ground-rule double, there was no doubt about this ball leaving the yard.
The home run gave the Columbia Fireflies a 6-0 lead. Needless to say, Tebow has continued to defy the doubters and show that at the very least he can hold his own in minor league baseball. And who knows, if he keeps hitting like this, maybe Tebow can find his way onto the New York Mets.
It’s also worth pointing out that Tebow now has just one less home run than Michael Jordan, who left basketball to pursue baseball.
