Christmas concert: The Clark Atlanta University Choirs will present their annual Christmas choral concert at 7:06 p.m. Nov. 29 at First Presbyterian Church. The ensembles, under the leadership of the current conductor, Curtis Everett Powell, will welcome a special guest soprano, Calesta “Callie” Day, who is a native of Atlanta. Free and open to all. Light celebration: Visitors can drive or stroll through a Nativity and light celebration featuring Christian-themed Christmas trees, Christmas carolers, hot chocolate, cookies and gifts for children at Bethel United Methodist Church from 6-8 p.m. Dec. 2-3. Concert for all: Get ready for an evening of soulful music and Shabbat tunes featuring local musicians during Acoustic Shabbat Cafe, which will be held from 7-8 p.m. Dec. 9 at San Francisco Coffee Roasting Company (1192 N. Highland Ave. N.E., Atlanta). The evening will celebrate people of all faiths and backgrounds through live acoustic music, blessings and cheerful songs. Children’s celebration: Children ages 3-10 will be able to partake in a special Hanukkah-themed Shabbat along with a storytime session, menorah making, latkes eating and more beginning at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 16 at Congregation Ner Tamid.
