Atlanta-filmed “Avengers: Endgame” is the highest grossing movie ever, and it’s made it’s stars some of the wealthiest actors in the world.

But none of the superheroes could touch the world’s biggest action hero.

According to Forbes, Johnson will earn “an upfront salary of up to $23.5 million — his highest quote yet — for the forthcoming ‘Jumanji: The Next Level.’ He also commands up to 15% of the pool from high-grossing franchise movies, including ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,’ which had a worldwide box office of $962.1 million. And he is paid $700,000 per episode for HBO’s ‘Ballers’ and seven figures in royalties for his line of clothing, shoes and headphones with Under Armour.”

We know the "Avengers" movies were good for Atlanta and Georgia because both movies were filmed here. The total budget for "Infinity War" and "Endgame" combined was a reported $1 billion. Disney spent $321.2 million on "Infinity War," according to Forbes, so that means the budget for "Endgame" was upward of $600 million.

They were also good for the actors who played superheroes in the movies.

Chris Hemsworth is No. 2 on Forbes’ list of highest-paid actors, thanks in part to his role as Thor in the "Avengers" movies.

Chris Hemsworth, who portrays Thor, is No. 2 on Forbes' list, earning $76.4 million. And while the God of Thunder enables him to command more than $15 million a movie, he also has a seven-figure income from endorsements for Hugo Boss and Tag Huer.

Tony Stark declared "I am Iron Man," but Robert Downey Jr. can declare he is the No. 3 highest paid actor in the world, earning $66 million portraying the billionaire playboy genius philanthropist.

The other three Avengers making the list are Bradley Cooper at No. 6 with $57 million; Chris Evans at No. 8 with $43.5 million; and Paul Rudd at No. 9 with $41 million.

Cooper, who voices Rocket Raccoon, actually made most of his money from “A Star is Born,” Forbes reported.

For those who are wondering, Scarlett Johansson, who portrays Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, earned $56 million, which would rank her higher than Evans and Rudd. But this list is just about the guys.

Last year’s winner, George Clooney, didn’t make the list this year. His 2018 earnings of $239 million came mostly from the sale of his tequila company.
