After causing widespread destruction on the Florida Panhandle and parts of Georgia, Hurricane Michael is speedily approaching the Carolinas with damanging winds and a ton of rainfall parts of those states don’t need after extensive flooding earlier this month.

The American Red Cross
The Red Cross continues to organize its efforts by assisting evacuation efforts for tens of thousands of people in Michael’s path. The agency said you can help people affected by storms and countless other crises by visiting redcross.org, calling 1- 800-RED CROSS or texting the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donatio

Americares, a health-focused disaster relief organization, is also urging people to get out of the storm’s path. The organization has created a disaster checklist for those in harm’s way. Americares is accepting donations to send medicine and aid to those in need.
