The average home price in metro Atlanta remained virtually flat in November, compared to the previous month, according to Standard & Poor's Case-Shiller Index, released Tuesday.
Average prices were down 6 percent from November 2008, continuing the year-over-year gap-narrowing trend started earlier in year. In October, prices were down 8 percent from a year earlier, compared with a 9 percent decline in September. That was preceded by an almost 11 percent year-over-year disparity in August and a 14 percent gap in June.
