The newest exhibit at World of Coca-Cola puts the work of 10 Atlanta-based artists on display.

"10 Artists, 10 Bottles" is featured in the Pop Culture Gallery through May 2018 and features the work of 10 local artists who put their unique spin on 4-ft. sculpted Coke bottles.

"This exhibit was commissioned to celebrate the 10th anniversary of World of Coca-Cola at Pemberton Place, and it also offers up a taste of local talent, celebrating the work of the incredible creatives who call Atlanta home," said Russell Jacobs, general manager, World of Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola Stores.

The iconic curvy Coca-Cola bottle was created in 1915 and is one of the most recognized objects in the world. Each of the artists was invited to use the sculpted bottles as a canvas to express their diverse artistic styles. The finished bottles represent a range of styles and mediums from painting to recycled glass.

Artist Dirk Hays hides 10 mini Coke bottles in his design to draw visitors in while encouraging them to think and have fun. The abstract bottle by artist Demone Phelps also engages viewers as they search for the four polar bears hidden in his design.

Kathleen Plate is a well-known name in Atlanta for her recycled glass jewelry. Her bottle features mosaic glass cut by hand from the logo bands of older Coca-Cola bottles. Lucha Rodriquez, also known as Lucha Pink, offers up her signature pink in a manner fitting of Coke's "bubbly effervescence," she said.

Other artists featured include John Morse, Kyle Brooks, Lee Laney, Molly Rose Freeman, Sally King Benedict and Sidney Carter.
