The Democratic leaders of a U.S. House committee with subpoena power are requesting documents from senior Georgia officials about alleged voting irregularities in the state during the 2018 election. 

House Oversight and Reform Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings and one of his top deputies, fellow Maryland Democrat Jamie Raskin, fired off a pair of letters Wednesday to Gov. Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger seeking documents related to Georgia's "exact match" law, the consolidation of polling sites in the state and long lines reported at the polls on Election Day last year.
