Yeah, yeah, the ‘80s were all about jelly bracelets, parachute pants and “Choose Life” T-shirts. We know. But the decade also established a soundtrack for Generation X-ers that was heavy on melodic pop as well as New Wave sounds from our British compatriots — among them ABC (“Be Near Me”), Modern English (“I Melt With You”), Kajagoogoo (“Too Shy”) and the Outfield (“Your Love”). Only singer Tony Lewis will be present for the Outfield on this ‘80s-centric tour, and let’s not forget headliner Belinda Carlisle, who will represent for the Go-Go’s as well as her own successful solo work.
