Several solid sandwiches grace the menu at this casual downtown Alpharetta eatery. For a spicy concoction, try the Kaya, which features a mix of jerk salmon, avocado, pickled red onion, cucumber, mango slaw and the kick of jerk mayo. 2. Grilled caprese sandwich at Osteria Mattone
Available for brunch and lunch at this spot in historic Roswell, the grilled caprese sandwich is made with grilled mozzarella, tomato, basil, truffle butter and Tuscan bread. It is served with your choice of soup or salad, via the restaurant's two-course lunch special ($16), or with hand-cut fries as part of the brunch menu.

Enjoy a classic Italian dish, sandwich-style, at Colletta — located at Avalon in Alpharetta.
