Anniversary parties with free food and drinks, scotch dinner and more

Head to several restaurant anniversary parties including Davio’s and Table and Main which will offer everything from  free food to live music. Thursday, Aug. 16: Chef Matthew Basford will create a four-course meal featuring smoked salmon, scallops, roasted Peking duck breast, beef short rib and more — all paired with scotch cocktails from BenRiach Distillery — beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Canoe. Friday, Aug. 18: Kennesaw-based eatery, The Rotisserie Shop, will host its fifth anniversary fete featuring a special craft beer sampling by Burnt Hickory Brewery and live alternative rock music by Serene Dream beginning at 6:30 p.m. Additionally, daily deals will be available throughout the week such as free mini desserts on Aug. 15 and $5 drink specials on Aug. 16.
