Recently-opened DeKalb Avenue supper club LLoyd's is set to have a new neighbor as of tomorrow.
DeKalb Athletic Club is the latest venture from Victory Brands, the team behind LLoyd's as well as two locations of Victory Sandwich Bar in Inman Park and Decatur, S.O.S Tiki Bar in Decatur and Little Trouble in West Midtown. LLoyd's, which opened in November 2018, and DeKalb Athletic Club are both located in the new Dickey mixed-use development, not far from the Eastside Beltline.
Co-owner Ian Jones said the coffee shop will feature espresso and drip coffee from Decatur-based Radio Roasters, as well as cubanos, cafecitos and coladas with Cuban coffee. The spot will start with a limited selection of extras including chai, sodas and sweet treats that will grow over time.
Hours are subject to change, but for now DeKalb Athletic Club will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.
