Delta Air Lines is doubling the number of vehicles -- including Porsches -- used to greet celebrities and VIPs plane-side for the Super Bowl in Atlanta.

Atlanta-based Delta expects to handle more than 1,000 “high-value customers” and celebrities throughout Super Bowl week with its elite services vehicle service.

Since 2011, Delta has used Porsches to quickly whisk diamond-level elite frequent fliers between flights during connections.

But for the Super Bowl in Atlanta, Delta will also use the vehicle service to transport VIPs from their planes outside concourses to the arrivals area of the terminal.

That’s not the only luxury transport from plane-side.

At the private air terminal run by Signature Flight Support at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport, Signature has partnered with Maserati for pre-arranged shuttle service to hotels or the game, with prosecco and chocolates.

At PDK and at Fulton County’s Charlie Brown Field, Maserati will have autos on display. Signature is also serving food to flight crews watching the game at the airport while waiting for their passengers.
