PeachFest in new location for this Sunday’s event

PeachFest 2019 will take place Sunday, July 21. The event is moving locations. This year it will be in Peachtree Center's renovated plaza downtown. More than 65 food artisans, pastry chefs, barkeeps and sponsors will fill your belly with inventive takes on classic peach dishes. PeachFest welcomes new, existing and emerging artists to take the stage. Funds raised are used for programming at Piggy Bank, which grants farmers in any part of the world access to a powerful database of business plans.

PeachFest returns to downtown Atlanta this weekend, but not in the same location.

The third annual event will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday, July 21, at Peachtree Center’s renovated plaza.

“We’re thrilled to bring PeachFest to Peachtree Center this year,” said Leslie Bland, director of marketing at Peachtree Center. “Having such a vibrant event full of local energy at the newly renovated Peachtree Center gives us a chance to further connect with the Downtown Atlanta community and show off our fresh new look.”

PeachFest brings together more than 65 food artisans, pastry chefs, barkeeps and sponsors to tempt festival goers with inventive takes on peach-infused dishes and drinks. Look for chef Hector Santiago of 'Top Chef' fame, and the ice cream joint you voted as Best of Atlanta, Butter & Cream.

There will also be music and appearances by local chefs and farmers.

The event is a fundraiser for the Piggy Bank, a "nonprofit organization that aims to advance initiatives focused on protecting and cultivate a healthy, sustainable, resilient and equitable world," the event's website states. So, if you go, make sure to support the silent auction filled with rare, cellared wines, and gifts from local restaurants and sponsors.

The general admission, all-inclusive tickets, which gets you “peach-centric dishes” of all varieties such as pizza, paleo, baked goods, appetizers, beer, wine and more, are $70 for the event, from 4-7 p.m.

If three hours isn’t long enough, 100 people can purchase a VIP ticket. Not only do you get in at 3 p.m., but you also get “a private tasting of cellared wines in the silent auction lounge, limited dishes, reserve spirits and more time to mix and mingle with the chefs, winemakers and farmers.”

Tickets are still available and can be purchased here.

Peachtree Center is at 225 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30303.
