Without top scorer, Hawks' late lead slips away

Salt Lake City — Anthony Toliver scored 21 points and grabbed five rebounds off the bench to lead the Spurs to an 83-82 victory over the Hawks (3-1) in the Rocky Mountain Revue summer league game on Tuesday.

Guard Acie Law finished the game with 27 points and four assists for the Hawks.

The Hawks played without their most productive player in the Revue, Othello Hunter, who had averaged 14.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. He was out with an injury.

The Hawks led 77-75 with 2:04 remaining on Luke Jackson's layup, and Thomas Gardner made a 3-pointer to go ahead 82-81 with 21.4 seconds remaining, but they couldn't hold the lead.
