When not owning Georgia and the rest of college football, Bama boss Nick Saban chills in his vacation mansion that sits on the shores of Lake Burton in the North Georgia mountains. Apparently, Saban takes time off.
Soon Saban may have to find a new spot to
watch game tape relax. Via the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Saban is selling the home at auction on June 6. "The Pointe on Lake Burton" estate can be yours with a starting bid of $10.9 million, according to Concierge Auctions. There's no reserve price, either, so none of that ebay bait-and-switch stuff.
Here's how Concierge describes the property:
"A showpiece of unprecedented stature nestled in the North Georgian mountains overlooking the shores of Lake Burton, enjoy luxury living with unparalleled imagination and stunning lake and mountain views with over 9,600 square feet on 1.7 acres and 700 feet of frontage."
The home includes six bedrooms, six bathrooms, three half-baths, a wine cellar, a pub, "custom boat house" and a three-story lighthouse.
No need to worry about how Saban will find his seclusion once he sells The Pointe on Lake Burton. According to the Business Chronicle, Saban has another place on the lake because of course he does.
