Kiplinger’s Personal Finance just released its annual 100 Best Values in Public Colleges report, and four Georgia campuses made the cut.

In 10th place for value is the University of Georgia; Georgia Tech is 33rd; the University of North Georgia is 94th, while Georgia College & State University is 95th on the list.

The top spot on the list goes to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, followed by University of Virginia, the University of Florida, the College of William and Mary and the University of California, Los Angeles.

The schools are graded on their low student-faculty ratios, high graduation rates, reasonable price tags and rich financial aid, including need-based aid (grants, not loans) for students who qualify.
