  It’s official.

WR Jumichael Ramos, who is committed to Georgia Tech, will take an official visit this weekend to N.C. State.

Ramos’ high school coach at Lovejoy, Al Hughes, said everything was finalized on Thursday.

“He does have a visit scheduled to North Carolina State for this weekend,” Hughes said.

What’s the status with Georgia Tech? “He’s still committed there. That’s what he told me. I said ‘What does that mean?’ He said ‘I’m committed to Georgia Tech but I’m taking an official visit to NC State.’”

Thursday was a whirlwind day for the Yellow Jackets:

  •   Longtime Georgia Tech QB commit Damon Mitchell may visit Arkansas this weekend, according to multiple reports.
  •   Hillgrove High School defensive back Tolando Cleveland, who had been committed to Georgia Tech since last July, flipped to Mississippi State.
  •   However, Georgia Tech did add a commit when McEachern High School QB Ty Griffin pledged to the Yellow Jackets.
