One of Georgia’s top prospects at wide receiver has de-committed from Kentucky.

Deangelo Yancey, a 6-foot-2, 200-pounder from Mays High School, decided to go ahead on de-commit on Saturday, while on his official visit to Purdue.

“Basically, I just felt like I wasn’t wanted with the new coaching staff at Kentucky,” Yancey told AJC. “My offer still stood, but I felt like I wasn’t wanted. And I don’t want to go where I’m not wanted and don’t feel comfortable.”

Yancey is scheduled to go to Missouri next weekend, but said of Purdue, “Honestly, it’s going real well down there. I mean, really well.”

UPDATE: Yancey told the AJC on Saturday night that he committed to Purdue.
