Note: Live chat is now closed, but still post your questions and I will try to answer as many as I can. Please return to the site tomorrow for complete coverage of National Signing Day.

It’s Tuesday.

We’re less than 24 hours away from signing day.

This blog will be your headquarters for the AJC’s coverage of National Signing Day. Throughout the day on Tuesday, we’ll continuously update the blog with the latest news. So please come back. Again, again and again.

And if it’s a big story, we’ll have it somewhere else but we’ll have a link here.

So much happening so fast, we’ll hit the high spots. Don’t worry about searching for recruiting news over the Internet or following recruits on Twitter. We’ll provide the info and links here:

  • UGA's best chance at picking up a recruit on signing day appears to be DE Davin Bellamy, who told the AJC that he will announce at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The former FSU commitment has UGA, Oregon and Tennessee as his finalists. Bellamy is a 6-foot-5, 240-pound defensive end from Chamblee High School.
  • It only seems appropriate to start off the day before Signing Day with some news about Reuben Foster, who is probably the most entertaining football recruit the state of Georgia has ever produced. Foster committed to Alabama for a second time on Monday night, third time overall. In between, he was pledged to Auburn, and got that gigantic Auburn tattoo on his forearm (which ESPN SportsCenter tweeted about after Monday’s news). Of course, with the free-spirited Foster, anything and everything can happen between now and when it’s time to turn in the letter-of-intent on Wednesday morning.
  • Washington County High School offensive lineman Michael Selby, who is committed to Marshall, said he was approached by Georgia Tech on Sunday. “Coach (Mike) Sewak talked to me and he offered me. Then I talked to Paul Johnson and all of them.” While Selby was appreciative of the last-minute interest, he decided to stick with Marshall. “Well, I thought it over with and I ended up not taking it because I didn’t really have a relationship with the Georgia Tech coaches and I also felt like Marshall was the place where I needed to be.” Will Georgia Tech go after another in-state OL?
  • The big fish that Georgia Tech is waiting on is Cornelius Elder, the 4-star “athlete” from Nashville, Tenn. He made an official visit to Georgia Tech over the weekend, according to JacketsOline.com. Here’s the latest: Elder texted reporters to let them know he will not announce on signing day. Elder recently got a basketball offer from Purdue, and may be waiting to see his options in that sport. The 5-foot-10 Elder plays point guard. His football offers include Georgia Tech, Ohio State, Auburn and UCLA.
  • Good news for UGA? Maybe. UGA DE target Davin Bellamy of Chamblee High School caught the attention of Bulldogs fans when he tweeted "I'm ready. I know where I want to spend my next 4 years now." Bellamy has UGA as his leader, with Oregon and Tennessee tied for second.
  • Hillgrove High School defensive back Tolando Cleveland said one of the main reasons he switched from Georgia Tech to Mississippi State last Thursday was last month’s departure of Charles Kelly, the former Georgia Tech DB coach who is now Florida State’s LB coach. “I had a change of heart, and a lot of it had to do with Coach Kelly leaving,” Cleveland said. “I really wanted to play for him. Georgia Tech was great to us, all the coaches were. It was my decision to chose somewhere else.” Before Cleveland left for an official visit to Mississippi State last Friday, he said he met face-to-face with new Georgia Tech defensive coordinator Ted Roof and assistant Brian Bohannon for about 20 minutes. “I just said ‘I’m sorry,’ ” Cleveland said. “I told them my reasoning and they respected my decision. It was a tough conversation. But I had to do what I had to do.”
  • The biggest Georgia flip on Tuesday? Probably Dutchtown High School’s Donovahn Jones. He had been committed to Missouri as an “athlete” but switched to Minnesota to play quarterback. Said Dutchtown assistant Terrod Herrod, “He is really excited to play QB. This was a tough decision. Missouri did a great job recruiting him but he developed a great relationship with Coach Kill, the head coach, and that was the difference.”
