FLOWERY BRANCH -- Falcons middle linebacker Akeem Dent (sprained right ankle) and left tackle Sam Baker (knee) were declared out for the 'Monday Night Football' game against the New York Jets on Thursday by head coach Mike Smith.
However, running back Steven Jackson (hamstring) was not declared out. He was hurt in the second game of the season on Sept. 15. The team thought he'd be out two to three weeks.
But Jackson, who did not participate in practice, wrote in his blog on Friday that he didn't plan to return until he was "100 percent healthy."
"We're not going to rule him out at this point in time," Smith said. "He's working hard to get back and we'll have to see how the rest of the week plays out."
Cornerback Asante Samuel (thigh) and linebacker Paul Worrilow (knee) did not practice.
Defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux (foot), wide receiver Julio Jones (knee) and wide receiver Roddy White (ankle) were all limited in practice.
Wide receiver Drew Davis (ankle) fully participated in practice.
