The annual event celebrates the spirit of the Smithsonian Museum (which is always free), by granting free access to participating museums nationwide.
You must have an official Museum Day Live! ticket for free entry at participating venues. There is a one ticket per household limit that is good for two people.
A ticket gets entry to only one of the participating museums, excluding parking and special events and exhibits. If the museum reaches capacity, they have the right to limit the number of guests.
