Breathe Right, Charco Caps, Florax and more: This week Walgreens has a number of items that are free after Register Rewards. Breathe Right Nasal Strips (10 count) is on sale for $4. Use the $1 coupon from the March 10 SmartSource to pay $3 at the register. You will get a $4 Register Rewards coupon for your next order, so your net cost will be free with a profit of $1 in store credit. Charco Caps Anti-Gas Formula (36 count) is on sale for $7. You will get a $7 Register Reward for a net cost of zero. Florax DS Diarrhea Relief Probiotic is $7 with a $7 Register Reward for a net cost of zero, and Walgreens brand Perfection tampons (eight count). is $1.49. It has a $1.49 Register Reward for a net cost of zero. Calagel Itch Relief (6 ounce) is $5 with a $5 Register Reward for a net cost of zero.

Skinny Cow: Rite Aid has Skinny Cow Chocolate clusters (six-pack boxes) on sale for $2.50 each when you buy two. Use two of the $1 coupons from the April 28 SmartSource to pay $1.50 each at the register. You will get a $1-off-two +UP Reward, so your net cost will be $1 each.

Arm & Hammer: Rite Aid has a “buy one, get one free” promotion on Arm & Hammer products, including laundry detergent, cat litter, toothpaste and toothbrushes, saving you 50 percent off the regular price. You will get a $10 +UP Reward when you spend $20 on any combination of these products, so you’ll save 75 percent off the regular prices if you hit $20. And when you use coupons for these items from the Jan. 20, March 24, April 14, April 21 and/or April 28 SmartSource circulars, you may get some items free. Check your store for specific prices and bring your coupons.

SmartSource Tips: Check your May 5 SmartSource circular for coupons that are sure to help you get bargains on items that frequently go on sale when the grocery stores double their value. For example, there are coupons for 50 cents off Ken’s Dressing (16 ounce), $1 off one bag of Hershey’s Bliss chocolates, $1 off Mitchum deodorant, $1 off Hormel Compleats, 50 cents off Philadelphia cream cheese and $3 off Bic Soleil disposable razors. Also find a coupon for 35 cents off any size can of Van Camp’s baked beans, which will make the 15-ounce can a real bargain. If you don’t buy this brand, it’s an excellent item to donate to a food pantry.
