Listerine: CVS has a promotion that gives you a $5 Extrabucks reward when you spend $10 on any Listerine items. Combine that with the $1 Listerine coupons in the April 7 RedPlum to save more than 50 percent.

Gold candy: CVS has Gold Emblem Red bag candy (2.5- to 7-ounce sizes) or Gold Coins candy (1.5-ounce bags) on sale for 99 cents each. Scan your CVS card at the red Coupon Center to get a 25-cent instant store coupon and pay only 74 cents per bag. You will also get a coupon for 20 percent off any CVS brand items (excluding sale items). 

Coke: CVS has Coke 12-pack cans on sale for $3.67 each. You will get a $3 Extrabucks reward with three, so your net cost will be $2.67 each. Limit one per household.

Bumble Bee tuna: CVS has Bumble Bee chunk white tuna in water (5-ounce cans) on sale for 88 cents each, no coupon required. That is a stock-up price.

Rite Aid

Simplify water: Rite Aid has Simplify Purified Water (24 pack, .5-liter bottles) on sale for $2.37 each, which is about 10 cents per bottle. You can also get a deal at Target on the Market Pantry 24-pack bottled water on sale for $2.50 each.

Pepsi: Rite Aid has Pepsi products 12-pack cans on sale for $3.33 each. You will get a $2 +UP Reward when you buy three so your net cost will be $2.67 each.

Colgate: Rite Aid has Colgate Total mouthwash (8 ounce) on sale for $2.99. Use the $2 coupon from the June 2 SmartSource circular to pay 99 cents at the register. You will get a $1 +UP Reward so your net cost will be free. You also can get a Colgate Max or 360 manual toothbrush for $1.99 at the register after using the $1 coupon from the same circular. You’ll get the $1 +UP Reward so your net cost will be 99 cents for the toothbrush.

Werther’s: Rite Aid has Werther’s Originals bagged candy on sale for $1.50 when you buy two. Use the $1-off-two coupon from the April 21 SmartSource circular to pay $1 each at the register. You will get a $1 +UP Reward, so your net cost will be 50 cents per bag.

Gum: Rite Aid has single packages of Trident and Dentyne gum on sale for $1 each. When you buy two packages, you will get a $1 +UP Reward and you can get up to four +UP Rewards. If you buy six packages of gum and use two of the $1-off-three coupons from the May 19 SmartSource circular, you will pay $3 at the register and get $2 in +UP Rewards. Your net cost will be $1, or 17 cents per package. You could buy as many as 12 packages of gum and use four of the $1-off-three coupons to stock up at that low price.
