Atlanta Street Food Festival: For a different kind of dinner out with the kids, check out the festival noon-8 p.m. Saturday at Piedmont Park. Kids 12 and younger are free (adults are $10.50 each) and the event features more than 25 food trucks plus local artists and live music. Purchase tickets in advance and receive a discounted wristband at the gate. Wristbands take $1 off of each menu item more than $6. Plus, wristbands are good for one free cocktail from Bombay Sapphire. The kids will enjoy Dos Bros, the taco food truck from the new DreamWorks film “Turbo,” which will be slinging tacos and posing for photos. The first 500 customers will receive a free taco. To purchase tickets and for more information on the festival, visit www.atlantastreetfoodfestival.com.

Abode: Find special deals on handcrafted furniture all this month.
