Monday is Presidents Day which means just about every national retailer is having some sort of sale -- too many for me to list them all. Here's a great list of online sales along with coupon codes (some deals are also happening in-store) -- many of which start today.

Mountain High Outfitters: This retailer of outdoor gear is having a winter clearance sale featuring a  BOGO now through Feb. 24. Buy any Fall apparel item at full price and get another Fall apparel item of equal or lesser value free. Save on jackets and seasonal apparel. There are also great deals on footwear including 50 percent off New Balance and Sorel and 40 percent off  Merrell, Vibram Five Fingers, Ugg and Clarks.

Michaels: This is a deal if you happen to be lucky. Michaels stores will be randomly handing out gift cards to its customers on Sun., Feb. 17 in support of  Random Acts of Kindness Day. All metro area Michaels stores are participating. There are

Monkey Joe’s: The children’s entertainment center is having a nationwide birthday celebration for its namesake, Monkey Joe, on Presidents Day.  The all-day event will also serve as a customer appreciation day with giveaways, community activities and a special birthday party. Starting at 10 a.m., get discounted admission of $5, free pizza for the first 100 children and a free birthday party goodie bag for the first 75 children. The celebration is for children 2 - 12 at all metro area locations.

Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint: Join the grand opening party at the pizzeria's newest metro area location in Dunwoody from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Sun., Feb. 16. Be one of the first 100 customers to arrive and you'll get free pizza for a year. There will be family-friendly activities like a stilt walker and face painting. The new Uncle Maddio’s is located at 4745-C Ashford Dunwoody Road in the Dunwoody Wal-Mart shopping center. CORRECTION: Readers, my apologies. The above event day should have read Sat., Feb. 16.
