Use two of the $1-off-two coupons from the March 24 SmartSource circular to buy four boxes and pay $1.49 each at the register. You will get 2,000 Balance Rewards points toward a future order, equal to $2. Your net cost will be 99 cents per box.

Ten soda: Walgreens has 12-packs of multiple varieties of Ten soda on sale for $2.99. Ten soda is a new variety that is 10 calories per can. Use the $1 store coupon from the monthly savings booklet to pay $1.99 at the register. Varieties include 7-UP, A&W, Sunkist, Canada Dry and Dr. Pepper.

Colgate: Walgreens has Colgate Total Whitening toothpaste (4.2 ounce) on sale for $2.49. Use the 75-cent coupon from the April 7 SmartSource circular to pay $1.74 at the register. You will get a $1 Register Rewards coupon for your next purchase, so your net cost will be 74 cents each.

Try BJ’s with trial membership

If you’d like to give wholesale club shopping a try, you can use the coupon in the April 7 SmartSource circular to get a free 60-day membership to BJ’s Wholesale Club. Also find a coupon in the same circular for a free package of Bounty paper napkins (600 count; value $8.49) when you buy a 12-roll package of Bounty white or print paper towels at BJ’s.

Kroger

Hunts Snack Packs: Kroger has Hunts Snack Pack pudding (four-count cups) on sale for $1. Use the 50-cents-off-four coupon, which Kroger will double, to pay 75 cents each.

Chicken, produce: This week Kroger has Perdue boneless, skinless chicken breasts on sale “buy one, get one free.”  Fresh Tyson chicken drumsticks or thighs are $1.19 per pound. Also get broccoli crowns for $1 per pound, baby carrots for $1 per one-pound bag, fresh asparagus for $1.99 per pound, cantaloupes for $2 each, zucchini for $1 per pound and eight-pound bags of russet potatoes for $3.49 per bag (44 cents per pound).

Nature Valley: Kroger has a promotion that gives you $5 off at the register when you  buy five participating items.  Included in the promotion are Nature Valley Granola bars (12 count) on sale for $2.88. Use the 50-cents-off-two coupon from the Feb. 24 SmartSource circular to pay $1.38 each at the register after the $1 promotion savings per item when you get five promotion items.

CVS

Schiff supplements: CVS also has Schiff supplements on sale “buy one, get one free.” CVS will allow two coupons on a BOGO deal, so you’ll save more if you have two of the $3 coupons from the April 7 SmartSource circular.

Xtra: CVS has Xtra liquid laundry detergent (30 loads) on sale for $1.99. Go to the red Coupon Center kiosk, scan your Extracare card, and you will get a $1 Xtra store coupon. Your net cost will be 99 cents. Limit one offer per household.
