Happy Friday, everyone. As I mentioned earlier this week, the bib numbers for the AJC Peachtree Road Race are in the mail.

I received mine yesterday. If your number hasn’t arrived, fear not, it should be there in your mailbox next week.

Where are you running this weekend? If you are up early tomorrow, the Big Peach Running Co. will meet at Phipps Plaza at 7:30 a.m. to run the AJC Peachtree route.

It’s a good way to get more comfortable with the course and with running in the heat. And, because the run starts early, you’ve got the rest of the day to do other things.

I’ve received some emails about veteran AJC Peachtree’ers in another sense – the ones who volunteer year after year, decade after decade. Thank you to all who sent me information, and please, keep the names coming.

And, I personally know someone who organizes a party to watch the big event every year, but I know she’s not alone. If you have friends, co-workers or family members who plan or participate in AJC Peachtree watch parties, please let me know.
