Typhoon Fitow Blows Through Eastern China

Typhoon Fitow made landfall in China's Zhejiang province on Monday (October 7) morning, state media reported. Typhoon Fitow struck the eastern Chinese coast at around 01:15 AM (1715 GMT Sunday October 6) local time, state broadcaster CCTV said. As of now, flights in several airports across eastern China have been canceled and high-speed trains from major cities as well as maritime transportation in the region have been suspended, official news agency Xinhua said.
