New Video Released From Inside High School Shooting

A student was shot and critically wounded by a classmate at Taft Union High School in Kern County Thursday morning. Authorities said a 16-year-old boy armed with a 12-gauge shotgun walked into a science class around 9 a.m. and shot a male student after a brief conversation. The suspect then fired at a second student, but missed. Officials said the shooter was a student who had originally been listed as absent. He walked into the school and his first-period class with the shotgun.
