Carnage in Bangladesh Bus Crash

At least 18 people were killed and 25 others injured in a bus crash in southeastern Bangladesh on Monday (February 11). The bus carrying 46 people crashed through a bridge barrier and onto the ground below. Police said the driver failed to slow down at a speed bump, which changed the course of the bus and resulted in the accident. Local media said the accident occurred at 2 a.m. (2000 GMT February 10) on Monday and that those injured were been taken to hospital.
