Hugh Jackman Calls Jean Valjean the "Hamlet of Roles" at Oscars Luncheon
At the Oscars Luncheon on Monday, Hugh Jackman gushed about his time playing Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, a role that earned him his first Academy Award nomination. He joked that he was "stalkerish" about nabbing the part, and compared his time on set to working on a stage play.
