George Lucas engaged to Mellody Hobson
"Star Wars" creator George Lucas is engaged to marry his longtime girlfriend Mellody Hobson. Lucas, 68, and Hobson, the president of a Chicago investment firm, have been together for the past six years. This will be Lucas' second marriage and the first for 43-year-old Hobson. Lucas launched "Star Wars" in 1977, developing it into one of the highest-grossing film franchises of all time.
